easiest install ever and games works fine and never fails if updated first learn weirding way noobs and you won't have to spend as much time as i spend playing the games on here crying about the games not working baihahaha

I tried to install G4WL and that version didnt work with Windows 8 , so i downloaded a new version.
Now when i start the game and prompt for new account, i get no option for offline account.

never mind found the option. installed it without running the update though, lets see how stable the game is.
I did everything in the instructions and it worked perfectly.
After you run setup.exe and it finishes updating, it will ask for a serial number. Just cancel it. Press the damn cancel button and everything will work.

Well after doing every step correctly (and downloading the xlive.dll), I've run into a tiny problem I can't quite figure out how to fix. When I launch the game, the screen goes black as if loading. The game hardware mouse is showing up just fine, but nothing else is happening. No music playing, game isn't doing a thing but sitting there. I'm not receiving any errors, nor is my computer saying the game isn't responding. I'm running Windows 8 Pro x64-bit with 2TB HD, 8GB memory, 2GB GEFORCE GT 640. So I know it's not my band new PC, and I followed every single step to the T. I'm not bitching at you guys, just seeking any assistance. :)

mine wants to install the file xlive.dll...Do I really need that file if I am going to play offline. And Also how do I get past the Authentication Key for online updating?

Ok Now all I am getting is a black screen when I start up the game and the cursor is there. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
ok If anyone got to the game screen and everything is black with the cursor I found a fix for that. I found it on this site:
